Ann gave generously. Her time, money, solidarity, and love. She was deeply committed to voting rights, and to fighting poverty and racism. She gave to her loved ones and neighbors in need (every unhoused person in Morningside Heights knew her name and that she was good for a smile and a couple of bucks).
